A local politician is promising to keep on top of a nuisance bear problem in County Park.
MPP Michael Gravelle says he understands the frustration of residents who say nothing is being done to get rid of the returning bear
He says the protocol is clear though, the city police need to call the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry before action can be taken.
Gravelle says he will be in touch with the ministry again, to see if they'll continue to work with the Thunder Bay Police.
He concedes, "we want to have this ... resolved."
Gravelle agrees if anyone gets hurt, laying blame won't be easy. (File photo)
