Charges have been laid against a 24-year old Thunder Bay woman following a theft at a north end Walmart.
Thunder Bay police were called to the Dawson Street store just after 5pm Friday.
When they got there, two security officers were wrestling with her on the ground outside the store, she was then placed under arrest.
Police found out when the woman was first confronted she had threatened security with a knife, with a further search showing she had a number of knives on her.
She appeared in court over the weekend and remains in custody.
