Born and raised in Edmonton Alberta some of my first memories of radio and music were trying to record the top 100 songs of the year on New Years Eve on 630 Ched with a cassette deck sitting next to the speakers of my brothers stereo. Hearing new music on the radio was, and still is the most exciting thing about radio for me. Having your ears grabbed a fresh combination of a great beat and melody teamed with a creative lyric, sets off sparks in my head.

My love of music as a teen led me to a career as a musician. In high school, there was nothing I wanted to do more than play the guitar. My inspiration was the original wave of Punk Rock coming from New York City and England. I was fortunate enough to end up making a band with my twin brother and other friends who together, as Snfu, would help create what is the alternative music scene in Western Canada. I toured everywhere in North America, Europe and Australia numerous times, released 9 albums of original music and shared the stage with some of my heroes. After twenty plus years of expressing myself with my guitar I became restless and looked back to my original musical expressions for new inspiration. I headed back to school (ugh) attending The British Columbia Institute of Technology for two years, learning about the world of broadcasting. Despite my aversion to waking up before 10 am, my first job in radio ended up being morning show host in the incredible but remote town of Smithers, BC.. A few years later my search for a larger broadcasting audience brought me here to Magic 99.9 to host the Magic Morning Show. I feel fortunate to be able to continue my radio career as the new host of the drive at Magic 99.9 and sleep in!
